Small Warm being

Gently I hold,
Cupped in my hand,
A small animal,
Warm and sleeping

Warm I hold,
Cupped in my hand,
A small me,
Gently breathing.

Secure I hold,
Cupped in my hand,
A small delight,
Warm and waking.

Loving I free,
Out of my hand,
The delight that is dancing
Outwards from me.
